Applications are invited from successful candidates who scored 150 and above in 2025 UTME (ND applicants) for admission into the School of Health Information Management of the UCH – University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State for a (2) Two-Years Programme leading to the award of the National Diploma (ND) and also a Two-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme in Health Information Management. The course, which is non-residential, shall commence in September 2025.

 

Requirements for UCH Ibadan School of Health Management ND/HND Admission for 2025

 

FOR ND APPLICANTS:-Apart from the JAMB result, applicants must have obtained the minimum entry requirement of five (5) credits at not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE/WAEC/NECO from the same examination body in the following subjects:

1. English Language
2. Mathematics
3. Biology
4. Physics
5. Chemistry

FOR HND APPLICANTS: Applicant must present their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES:
(a) O’ level result
(b) National Diploma or Professional Diploma in Health Information Management
(c) License Certificate
(d) Letter of completion of Industrial Training (IT)
(e) JAMB Admission Letter

2. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for ND will be in the following subjects:
(a) English Language
(b) Mathematics
(c) Physics
(d) Chemistry
(e) Biology

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for HND will be in courses:
(a) Health Records Management
(b) Anatomy & Physiology
(c) Clinical Coding
(d) Biostatistics
(e) Computer Science
(f) Health Planning Management

The application form is available beginning from Monday, 28th April, 2025, through the UCH SCHOOLS’ PORTAL at https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng

Interested individuals are to do the following:

1. Visit the UCH schools’ portal on https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng and click REMITA PAYMENT button to make payment.
2. After successful payment, candidates are to sign up with his/her RRR, Email and Password used for the payment.
3. Login with your Email and Password to continue the registration process.
4. Go to the portal on https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng and download the Applicants’ User Guide.
5. Follow instructions on the Applicants’ User Guide to input your data and submit your application online.
6. Print 2 copies of your form and photocard and bring them to the examination centre on the day of the examination.
7. Make a payment of another Five Hundred Naira (₦500.00) only into Health Information Managers Association of Nigeria, Account no: 0000207307 Union Bank, UCH Branch.

The screening exercise for the ND programme and HND entrance examination will be communicated to the candidates via their e-mail address. Successful applicants will be invited for an oral interview at a later date through text messages and the School’s website.
