JAMB Profile is an account on the JAMB portal containing information about a candidate who is registered for Joint Admission and Matriculations Board – JAMB. It is where you can check your admission status (JAMB CAPS), check and print JAMB admission letter, Original JAMB result and others.

This guide will provide you how to create JAMB Profile in 2021, how to link your email with JAMB.

This method is only meant for those that did not use email during their registration in JAMB 2021. To confirm if you use it or not, check the first printout you collected after registration at the accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office.
If you can confirm, email is not on your printout, proceed with the guide below:-

REQUIREMENTS TO CREATE A JAMB PROFILE IN 2021

1. Email address, preferably GMAIL Account. If you don’t have a Gmail address, visit Gmail.com to create one for free or visit a cyber cafe. Make sure the email address is valid and you can login to it.
2. Kindly cross check the email address very well, any error in it, it can’t be changed.
3. Don’t use email address you used for last year JAMB if you did JAMB in 2020.
4. N50 naira airtime on the SIM you used for JAMB profile code (that is what you will use, any other sim will not work).

HOW TO CREATE JAMB PROFILE 2021

1. Go to Message on your phone and type;
2. Email [space] your email address [space] your email address
3. Send it to 55019

Note: SMS will charge #50 airtime. Don’t use borrowed airtime.

Don’t type space in the message, it means leave space.

You must type the email address twice. You MUST include the word EMAIL in the message.

Example of you should send it is:
Email [email protected] [email protected]

Make sure you type everything in your email address, even if it has figures, eg – [email protected]

Once you send it, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS from 55019 and a message will be sent to the mailbox.

If you didn’t receive SMS confirmation, you can also check your email.

The message title is NO REPLY.

Open the message, you will see your JAMB details, such as your name, profile code, email address you sent to 55019, then a generated Password.

To login in to JAMB Portal so that you can check your profile;

Visit or click here – https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility./

Here is what the page will look like

• In the email Input your email address
• In the password, input the password JAMB sent to your email, it mostly start with cand
• Dont use capital letter where there is small letter
• Once you login, you will see your name and profile code.
