The Court Of Appeal Orders ASUU Members To Resume Work Immediately.
This ruling has left ASUU with no option but suspend the strike and return to work.
Recall that the striking lecturers had earlier appealed against the decision of the industrial court asking them to resume work.
The court granted the motion on notice filed by the Federal Government, urging the lecturers to return to classrooms.
The Court Of Appeal, however, granted the application on the condition that the union obeys the ruling of the lower court and call off the strike immediately pending the determination of the substantive suit.
The court gave ASUU seven days within which to file the appeal following the obedience of the ruling of the lower court.
