Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka formally UNIZIK has scheduled its 2024 / 2025 POST-UTME and DIRECT ENTRY screening exercise for candidates who chose the University as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (D/E) as well as all Nnamdi Azikiwe University Affiliate Institutions.

Requirements and Eligibility for Nnamdi Azikiwe University UNIZIK 2024 POST UTME / DIRECT ENTRY Form

1. Candidates who chose Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka or its affiliate institutions as their first choice and have the required cut-off mark are eligible to apply.

2. Candidates who did not choose NAU as first choice university but scored the eligible cutoff marks of any faculty / programme can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of institution.

3. Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.

CUT OFF MARK FOR 2024 UNIZIK POST UTME FOR EACH COURSE

FACULTIES/PROGRAMMES WITH CUT-OFF MARK OF 200:

a. LAW, MEDICINE, PHARMACY,
b. HEALTH SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: Envr. Health Sci., Human Nutrition, Med. Lab. Sci., Med. Rehab/Physiotherapy, Nursing Sci., Radiography.
c. PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES :- *Forensic Science, Pharmacy

FACULTIES/PROGRAMMES WITH CUT-OFF MARK OF 180:

a. ARTS: Chinese, English language, History, Linguistics, Philosophy & Theatre Arts.
b. BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES: Anatomy & Physiology.
c. BIOSCIENCES: Applied Biochemistry & Applied Microbiology
d. ENGINEERING: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Computer, Mechanical & Petroleum.
e. MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: Accountancy, Business Administration, Public Administration
f. PHYSICAL SCIENCES: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering
g. SOCIAL SCIENCES: Economics, Mass Comm. Political Sci., Psychology, Sociology.

a. AGRICULTURE, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES & EDUCATION.
b. ARTS: Igbo, Religion, Modern European Language & Music
c. BIOSCIENCES: Botany, Parasitology & Entomology. Zoology.
d. ENGINEERING: Agric. & Bio Resources, Industrial Production, Metallurgical & Material, Polymer & Textile
e. MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: Banking & Finance, Cooperative Econ. Mgt., Entrepreneurial Studies, Marketing
f. PHYSICAL SCIENCES: Geological Sciences, Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics & Industrial Physics, Pure & Industrial chemistry & Statistics.

a. Registration starts on Thursday, 1st August, 2024 and ends on Saturday, 31st August, 2024.

b. Change of course or change of institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) ends on Friday, 23rd August, 2024. Any change done after this date will not be valid.

c. Compulsory upload of O’level results (and A’level result’s for DE candidates on JAMB Caps ends on Friday, 23rd August, 2024..)

c. – Visit apply.unizik.edu.ng

• First validate your JAMB registration number, supply your LGA and UTME subjects combination and click on Submit change.
• Next provide an email address, phone number, Date of birth, password and click on update profile.
• Then Validate your account by providing the code sent to your email. Click Verify and Click Proceed to Sign in.
• On the sign in page, Login with your JAMB number/email and password.
  After a successful login, on the Dashboard,
• Click O’Level to add O’level results.
• Click Buy Form to pay the sum of N2000 (pay online with debit card or print account details and pay at the bank)
• After payment return to the portal and Click on submit form to submit your application.
• You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
• Note: you can edit your O’level results while the registration is still ongoing, after that, it will be locked for editing. Deadline: 31st August, 2024

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Candidates that are not eligible for the courses they applied for due to wrong UTME subjects combination are advised to choose from the list of suggested course/s on their eligibility status.

Affected candidates should also go to JAMB CBT centres and change their course/s to reflect their new choices before they can successfully register for Post-UTME.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

In addition to a, b, c above, candidates must also ensure that their academic transcript is forwarded to the Registrar, Nnamdi  Azikiwe University, Awka and hard copies of their JAMB E slip, O’ level result/s, OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level results to the office of Deputy Registrar (Admissions) on or before Friday, 23rd August, 2024..

– Any candidate whose transcript is not received before the stipulated period will not be considered for admission

TIME AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

a. Monitor your personal phone number/ email and UNIZIK website for more details of the screening exercise and post UTME/DE  exercise.

b. Candidates who did not register online will not be involved in the screening exercise.

c. You must also upload your O’level results on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admissions.

CAUTION

a. The University will not be liable for any payment made with wrong JAMB registration number at the Bank.
