This is to inform all candidates who are seeking for admission into Tai Solarin College of Education, Ogun State (TASCE) NCE that Post UTME application form 2021 for NCE is now available.
Read the information below on how to apply, cut off mark, deadline (closing date), eligibility and other details:
The general public, particularly prospective candidates are hereby informed that 2021/2022 session is in progress for the 3 Years Full-Time NCE Programmes of the College.
Post UTME Requirements and Eligibility for Federal College of Education (FCE) Katsina
- Candidates who chose TASCE as their first/second choice institution or UTME candidates who did not choose TASCE but seeking change of institution to TASCE through JAMB
- Candidates who sat for the 2021 UTME and scored 100 and above
- Candidates who did not attempt the 2021 UTME but have a minimum of 3 credits in O’ Levels.
- Candidates seeking admission into full time programme must possess any of the following:-
1. NECO/WASSCE/GCE’O’LEVEL with five (5) Credits passes at one or two sittings including English Language and Mathematics. Three of the Credit passes must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer.
2. Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in five subjects including English and Mathematics, three of which must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer as his/her specialization.
3. For candidates wishing to offer courses in Vocational and Technical Education, RSA or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate, and the Federal Craft Training Certificate (FCTC) credit/merit passes in at least five subjects, are acceptable as qualifications.
4. NABTEB Certificate with Five (5) credit passes at a sitting in relevant subjects
5. Senior Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificate or Higher Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificate from a recognized institution with 5 Credit/Merit passes including English Language, is also acceptable.
NOTE:- The following subjects are acceptable as entry requirements for Social Studies: Government, Economics, History, Commerce and Islamic Studies. Also credit in Government is acceptable in lieu of History for any course in History combination.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
FULL- TIME NCE PROGRAMME: This is available for candidates who scored minimum of 100 in JAMB and have minimum of five (5)credit passes at one or two sittings in relevant O ‘ Level subjects including Mathematics and English
NCE Foundation: This is available for candidates who scored minimum of 100 in JAMB but have deficiencies in O ‘ Level results. Such candidates, upon the remediation of their deficiencies, having offered 100level courses at the foundation class, shall be eligible to transit to 200level of the NCE programme. The minimum requirement is 3credit passes and 2passes at not more than two sittings in O’ level.

1. Apply for the Admissions process by clicking Apply Now on an open Application. You will be required to fill an account profile creation form. (Please fill the form correctly and supply a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER because your login details will be sent to whatever email address you provided)
2. To proceed with your application, you will need to activate your profile account. Check your email inbox (or Spam) for your activation link and your LOGIN credentials.
3.If you had already created an account or you are a formal student of this institution, Click Login to continue with your Application Form or apply for a new open Admission. Click here to login or visit https://my.tasce.edu.ng/core/auth/index.php
4. Continue by paying the necessary fees and then carefully filling the Application Form. Check that all the information provided is correct and valid before submitting your application.
5. Obtain the appropriate Result Checker scratch (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) to submit and verify your O’Level result using our Online Result Verification System.
6. Print a copy of the Application form and Screening Slip with the necessary information on it
NCE Post-JAMB Screening form fee is Two Thousand N2,000.00 naira only.
DATE OF SCREENING: All applicants will be required to appear for the Screening Exercise on a date to be communicated later.
