What Next After JAMB Registration ? Here Are 6 Very Important Things You Must Do Before The UTME Exam Day
1. Prepare for The Mock:- If you had initially indicated during the registration that you want to participate in the mock exam, you need to start preparing for it. You should prepare for it very well like you want to do the main exam.
The UTME Mock is set to hold on 7th March, 2024.
Your location for the Mock exam will likely be sent to your registered phone number for the JAMB. You will also be able to print it at any cyber cafe probably a few days to the UTME Mock date.

The purpose of the UTME Mock exam is to let you have the idea of how the main UTME exam looks like. It is not the main requirement for the exam. If you had initially indicated interest and you don’t want to do it again, there is no problem and you won’t be penalized for not doing it.

2. Prepare for The Exam:- There is nothing much more important than preparing for the UTME examination. You need to read thoroughly for the exam and take your mind off JAMB EXPO because IT IS A SCAM. Rather, what you should do is to read extensively like your life depends on it.

3. Use JAMB Syllabus:- The JAMB Syllabus is used to focus on what to read for the JAMB UTME Examination. It is the list of topics, objectives and textbooks for each subject available on JAMB, that you can read to prepare for the JAMB exam. It helps you learn effectively and stay focused. The questions to answer in the JAMB examination will be drawn from these areas or topics.
The syllabus is reviewed once in a while with just a little adjustment to the previous ones.

4. Use Recommended JAMB Textbooks:- There are recommended text books for each subject in JAMB. As we all know, all candidates will have to do only 4 subjects in the UTME examination. To know the recommended text books, you need to check it out on the official Syllabus.

5. Solve Past Questions:- No matter how hard you prepare for the exam, you need to test yourself on how well prepared you are. In order to do so, you should get yourself acquainted with the past questions. You can get copies of the past questions for each subject at any reliable book stores that sell original textbooks.

6. Printing of JAMB UTME Exam Slip:- In about a week to the exam, JAMB will start sending the Exam Date, Venue and Time to all applicants. It will be sent to the phone number you submitted during JAMB Registration which is also the number you used for profile code.
- Printing of 2024 UTME Examination Slips: 10th April, 2024.
- 2024 UTME Examination Date: Friday 19th April to Monday 29th April, 2024.
Alternatively, once it’s available (it will be announced), you can also print it at any cyber cafe and not necessary CBT Centre.
